Update on COVID-19
We are very aware of the media coverage of the spread of COVID-19 and the impact it potentially has on our everyday lives. We would like to reassure you that, as a responsible organisation, we are following the UK Government guidelines on how to deal with this virus. As this year’s Oncology Camp is in November we are currently planning to go ahead with it but we are aware this situation may change and we will keep you informed. We appreciate you are busy but we would recommend you please read your government’s guidelines. As expected, these guidelines are subject to frequent change so please keep an eye on them.
Stay safe everyone and take care!
The second Oncology Camp is planned – 24.11.2020 – 27.11.2020 at the Royal Veterinary College. The 4-day training course is primarily aimed at European Oncology residents and interns. Registration will open soon.
We planned a 4-day camp upon your request to allow more time for individual topics and discussions with experts. Oncological topics will be covered by specialists from an oncology, clinical pathology, surgery and radiotherapy perspective. Next years’ camp will focus on canine mast cell tumours and osteosarcomas and look at its newest treatment form, the vaccine. In-depth knowledge on basic radiobiology, principles of CT/MRI, and advanced molecular diagnostic techniques will be provided. A basic statistic session is planned to aid scientific writing. Sessions are divided into a lecture and interactive participate giving you the chance to raise questions.
The Oncology Camp committee wishes to thank the following companies and organisations for sponsoring portions of the scientific and social programs at the upcoming 2020 Oncology Camp. The generosity of sponsors is passed on to the delegates in form of lower registration rates. If you are interested in sponsoring the Oncology Camp 2020, please contact us.
