August 9-12, 2022
Meet us virtually once more!
Oncology Camp 2022, a 4-day interactive training event for
veterinary oncology residents and interns.
This year’s focus
The Oncology Camp 2022: Each topic will be covered by different sub-specialities. This ensures a broad perspective to case management. We will hear from veterinary oncologists, clinical pathologists, anatomical pathologists, surgeons and a radiotherapist to provide a collaborative approach to case management. This year we are focusing on endocrine tumours; covering treatment options, and management of the consequences of endocrine disease in cancer patients.
In-depth knowledge is again provided on basic radiobiology, principles of CT/MRI, cancer biology and basic statistics.
The exam session will focus on preparation for both oral and written components of the exam. To aid your learning, sessions are divided into lecture and interactive sections, giving you the chance to raise questions.

Oncology Camp 3.0
It is my great pleasure to invite you to this year’s virtual event. The Oncology Camp 3.0 will focus on endocrine tumours, management of endocrine disease in our patients and the use of novel therapies as rescue. We will again discuss basic statistics, cancer biology and radiobiology. Additionally, the exam session has been extended to include oral and written exam prep.
There are 4 good reasons!
The Oncology Camp is designed for all veterinary oncology residents and interns.

What People Say About Us
As a speaker preparing for this meeting is special, since the goal is not only to give a condensed update of a topic but also discuss the most important literature to show the residents which paper to look at more closely. This meeting is a must for all onc residents. While catching up with your fellow residents you find out were you stand with your own exam preparations.

Oncology camp was great fun and provided an incredible opportunity to learn from both the guest speakers as well as my fellow participants, in what felt like a really friendly and inclusive environment which encouraged everybody to participate. I would not hesitate recommending the programme to anyone wishing to improve and consolidate their oncology knowledge.

It was a pleasure to present at the 2020 Oncology Camp. The session ran very smoothly and the participants were engaged and asked great questions.

Lecturing for the camp was a great experience. It allows to go deeper in every topic and to cover key concepts that residents need for their board examination preparation.

The Oncology Camp was an amazing educational experience, where you can learn a lot from other colleagues and specialists. Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and know other residents and interns!
