This year’s focus
The Oncology Camp 2022: Each topic will be covered by different sub-specialities. This ensures a broad perspective to case management. We will hear from veterinary oncologists, clinical pathologists, anatomical pathologists, surgeons and a radiotherapist to provide a collaborative approach to case management. This year we are focusing on endocrine tumours; covering treatment options, and management of the consequences of endocrine disease in cancer patients.
In-depth knowledge is again provided on basic radiobiology, principles of CT/MRI, cancer biology and basic statistics.
The exam session will focus on preparation for both oral and written components of the exam. To aid your learning, sessions are divided into lecture and interactive sections, giving you the chance to raise questions.
Oncology Camp 3.0
It is my great pleasure to invite you to Oncology Camp 3.0 at Hatfield House Estate in August 2022. Following our last virtual event due to COVID-19, I am hopeful that a face-to-face event will be possible in the beautiful grounds of Hatfield Park.
Oncology Camp 3.0 will focus on endocrine tumours, management of endocrine disease in our patients and the use of novel therapies as rescue. We will again discuss basic statistics, cancer biology and radiobiology. Additionally, the exam session has been extended to include oral and written exam prep.
The Oncology Camp committee wishes to thank the following companies and organisations for sponsoring portions of the scientific and social programs at the upcoming 2022 Oncology Camp. The generosity of sponsors is passed on to the delegates in form of lower registration rates. If you are interested in sponsoring the Oncology Camp 2022, please contact us.
